The British School in Baku celebrated its Winter Sports Day on the 4th, and 6th of February 2020.
Winter Sports Day was welcomed by pupils with great zeal, excitement, and energy. The pupils represented their different house, Red, Blue, and Green, and points were awarded for first, second and third places.
Events included a sack race, an egg and spoon race, an obstacle race, and balloon and skipping race and of course the tug-of-war. Staff joined in the fun with their own relay and tug-of-war; much to the delight of the pupils.
On Monday 10th February the cups for the houses were given out. The results were:
First – Red 230 Second – Green 211 Third – Blue 209.
